Attendance
The Insite Attendance feature enables managers to keep track of Attendance issues at Client Site locations in order to maintain professionalism and a high level of quality service.
The Attendance feature enables you to –
- Run Attendance.
- Keep track of Employee Attendance occurrences.
- Edit Attendances.
- Review Attendance history and statistics to manage team performance.
Types
Insite classifies Attendance occurrences as three (3) types –
- Arrived Late: Falls under the Attendance category of Partial Day.
- Left Early: Falls under the Attendance category of Partial Day.
- Absent: Falls under the Attendance category of Absent for the following reasons – Sickness/Medical, Vacation, or Other.
Accessing the Attendance Page
1. From any Insite page, click the Quality module in the Main Navigation bar.
2. Select the Attendance feature from the sub-menu.
- The screen will default to the Attendance Charts page.
- Select the Details tab at the left to access the Attendance Details page.
3. Click the icon to view information About This Feature.
Running Attendances
Insite enables you to run Attendances to keep track of irregular Associate Attendance behavior.
How to run Attendance
1. From either the Attendance Charts page or the Details page, click at the top right. The Select an Employee pop-up will display.

2. Scroll through the list of Employees or use the Find Employee browser to search for an Employee by name.
3. Click next to the selected Employee name. The Attendance form will open.

4. Click the Calendar icon to select the Date of Occurrence.
5. Select the Type of Attendance – Arrived Late, Left Early, or Absent.
- If you select Arrived Late, you must specify the Time Arrived using the arrows to adjust the time accordingly.
- If you select Left Early, you must specify the Time Left using the arrows to adjust the time accordingly.
- If you select Absent, you must also select a Reason – Sickness/Medical, Vacation, or Other.
6. Enter a Description of the Attendance occurrence in the comment box.
7. Once the form is complete, click .
8. A message will display indicating that the issue was saved successfully. Click OK.
Viewing Attendances
Insite enables you to view and filter Recent and Historical Attendances.
How to view most recent Attendances
1. On the Attendance Charts page, the Most Recent panel at the left shows Card views of the most recent Attendance issues.

Each Card shows –
- Attendance Type
- Date and Time of Occurrence

2. Scroll down to view recent Attendances.
3. Click at the top right of an Attendance Card to display Card pop-up details.

The Attendance Card pop-up includes the following details:
- Employee Name and Position
- Reported By
- Date of Occurrence
- Type of Occurrence
- Reported On Date and Time
- Attendance Description
- EDIT button
- DELETE REPORT button
How to view all Attendances
1. If necessary, click the blue Date Picker button, and select a date range for your view of Attendances.
- Click to select date ranges of 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or apply a specific date range using the calendar.
2. From the Charts page, select the Details tab underneath the Attendance header to open the Attendance Details page.
3. The page will default to display All Attendance Cards.
Click the Absent tab to display all Cards with Absence occurrences.
Click the Partial Day tab to display all Cards with Partial Day occurrences.

How to filter and search through Attendance Cards
From the Details page, Attendance Cards can either be filtered or searched through in order to find the Card you wish to view.
1. To Filter through Cards –
Click FILTER BY at the right of the page and select the filter:
- Select Employee, and then select the Employee’s name from the list.
- Select Issue Type, and then select the Issue Type from the list.
- Select Reason, and then select the Reason from the list.
Note: Click at the right to clear data from the Filter.
Click at the right. The Attendance Cards display based on the applied filters.
Note: Select the x by the selected Filters tab to the left to clear all filters.
2. To Search for Cards –
Select Search at the right of the page, and then use the browser to search by:
- Employee Name
- Site Name
- Issue Type
- Attendance Description
Viewing Scorecards
Insite enables you access to an Associate Scorecards and Report Cards through the Attendance page.
How to view a Scorecard and Report Card from Attendance
1. From either the Charts page or the Details page, scroll through the list of Attendance Cards to find the Associate whose Scorecard and Report Card you wish to view.
2. Click at the top right of the Attendance Card. The Associates Report Card page will open.
3. View Current Month, Current Performance, and Historical Performance KPI information, as well as an Associate’s Possible Bonus and Total Bonus.
Editing Attendances
After you have created an Attendance, you may edit information as necessary.
How to edit an Attendance
1. If necessary, click the blue Date Picker button, and select a date range for Attendance.
- Click to select date ranges of 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or apply a specific date range using the calendar.
2. From the Charts page, scroll through the Most Recent panel to select an Attendance Card, or select the Details tab underneath the header to open the Attendance Details page.
The Details page will default to display All Attendance Cards.
3. Scroll through the Details page to find the Attendance Card you wish to edit, or use FILTER BY or the Search browser to find the Card.
4. When you have identified the Card you wish to edit, click EDIT at the bottom right of the Card to open the Attendance form.
5. Once you have completed your edits, click .
5. A message will display indicating that the issue was saved successfully. Click OK.
Deleting Attendances
Insite enables you to delete Attendance issues.
How to delete an Attendance
1. If necessary, click the blue Date Picker button, and select a date range for Attendance.
- Click to select date ranges of 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or apply a specific date range using the calendar.
2. From the Charts page, scroll through the Most Recent panel to select an Attendance Card, or select the Details tab underneath the header to open all Cards in the Attendance Details page.
3. When you have identified the Attendance you wish to delete, click at the top right of the Card to open the Card pop-up details.
4. Click DELETE REPORT at the bottom left of the pop-up. A message will display asking if you are sure that you want to delete the Attendance issue.
5. Click DELETE to confirm your action, or CANCEL to keep the Attendance.
Note: Once an Attendance issue is deleted, the action cannot be undone.
Exporting an Attendance Report
Insite enables you to export an Attendance report as an Excel spreadsheet.
How to export an Attendance report
1. If necessary, click the blue Date Picker button, and select a date range for Attendance.
- Click to select date ranges of 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or apply a specific date range using the calendar.
2. From the Charts page, select the Details tab underneath the header to open the Attendance Details page.
3. Select whether you wish to export All, Absent, or Partial Day
4. Use FILTER BY or the Search browser if you wish to find specific Attendances issues to export.
5. Select EXPORT at the top right.
6. Select a destination folder for the report, change the name of the report file (if you want), and then click Save.
The report will be saved as an Excel spreadsheet.
Viewing Attendance Statistics
Insite enables you to view Attendance statistics to manage your team’s performance.
Attendance statistics are located on the Charts page, to the right of the Most Recent panel.
How to view Attendance statistics
1. If necessary, click the blue Date Picker button, and select a date range for your view of Attendance statistics.
- Click to select date ranges of 1 Month, 3 Months, 6 Months, 1 Year, or apply a specific date range using the calendar.
Note: When creating historical date ranges, you can only view statistics to the first month Insite was implemented at your site.
2. From the Attendance Charts page, scroll down to view –
Note: Hover over interactive charts and graphs to see Attendance issues and statistics.
Absences
- Absence occurrences displayed as an interactive donut chart.
- Click on a segment of the donut chart to populate the interactive Monthly Trend line graph to the right.
- The number in the center of the donut chart displays the Total Number of Absences for the applied date range.
View by Employee
- Absence occurrences displayed in a table for all Employees at the Client Site location.
- Click the arrow next to the Employee header to sort list of Employees in alphabetical or reverse alphabetical order.
- Click the arrow next to the Absent, Partial Day, and Total headers to sort data numerically from highest to lowest, or lowest to highest.
